My city?
We’re growing one city at a time
abrazo.life expands city by city. The more dancers ask for a city, the sooner we get there — because we reach out to the local teachers and organizers to help that community grow, together.

Where tango is growing
How a city opens
Three separate things decide what abrazo.life can do where you dance. They do not happen in order, and none of them stops you signing up today: profiles, listings and calendars work from day one, and only taking money is gated.
- Automatic
The city opens
In the EEA a city switches on by itself once 50 dancers, 5 teachers and 3 organizers have signed up there — no decision from us. Everywhere else we switch it on by hand, once we have checked the local rules.
- On us
The country clears for payments
Charging through abrazo.life means obligations for us in that country: VAT registration (EU OSS where it applies), platform reporting such as DAC7, and — where national law asks for it — our terms and contracts validated in the local language. This is per country, and until it is done classes and tickets are arranged directly between you and the dancer.
- When we are ready
The city launches
A launch is the campaign around a city that is already open: reaching out to the local teachers and organizers, promos, founder access. We do that one city at a time, when the community there is ready for it.
However big a community gets, it never switches its own payments on — that step is ours, country by country, and we will email you the day yours is done.
